*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *21st December, 2017* *The Holy Spirit Glorifies Christ* _But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me._ John 15:26. Jesus Christ our Lord said that He will send the promise of the Father that is, the person of the Holy Spirit but that was not all He said about Him. He said the Holy Spirit will testify of Him. To testify of someone is to confirm a thing, event, experience or a person on behalf of another; that means, the Holy Spirit will not say a thing that’s contrary to the person or ministry of Jesus. Little wonder Paul said no one speaking by the Holy Spirit can call Jesus accursed. You need to settle it within yourself that The Holy Spirit was given to testify of Jesus, in other words, to glorify the finished works of Christ.
