*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *7th January, 2018* *Signs And Wonders Will Follow You* _And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover._ Mark 16:17-18. As a believer b, you are an ambassador of Christ here on earth, you are God’s extension in the physical realm and because of this; signs and wonders will follow you as an evidence of the life you carry inside. You need to understand that God expects you to live a life above the norm, it is His will that you bring glory to His name wherever you go. A lot of believers know that it is written in God’s word that they should walk in  signs and wonders but they have little or no experience in it because they have not come to see it as their legal right. Beloved, the life you have on your inside has...

*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *4th January, 2017* *Wisdom: Key To Walking In Signs and Wonders II* _Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil._ Ephesians 5:15-16 One characteristic of wise people is that they make the most of their time in knowing and doing God’s will, whereas the fool wastes spiritual opportunities. Wise people are those who walk by the direction of the Spirit of God—they are not drifting through life.  To live a life of signs and wonders is to live a life of wisdom. How then can you constantly walk in wisdom? The way to walk in wisdom is to know and understand God’s will. No doubt, we see this in Christ—the wisest man ever to live on the earth. He was all about doing God’s will. No wonder He was full of signs and wonders. If you are going to walk by wisdom, you must be consumed with knowing and doing God’s will. God is wisely ordering your steps to do some...

*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *3rd January,2018* *Wisdom: Key To Walking In Signs and Wonders*  _If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. Ecclesiastes 10:10_ Signs and wonders are children of supernatural wisdom. Wisdom directs and gets a job done with less stress and energy. As a believer, walking in signs and wonders is your reality and if you must do this, you have to continuously walk in wisdom. Here is the good news, you have the Spirit of wisdom in you.  This wisdom gives you foresight to what God’s plans are for you. Divine thoughts are birthed from wisdom. God’s wisdom always prevails, it gives you ideas and makes you a problem solver and in turn you become an evidence of God’s glory. Therefore, stir up wisdom on your inside and make it a priority. Stirring up wisdom starts by having a consistent fellowship with God. This means you take time to consider who God is...

*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *24th December, 2017* *Celebrating Christ* _God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life._ _For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved John 3:16-17_ Christ was born for our redemption. The greatest need of man was redemption, so God sent us a Saviour. You see, if our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator. If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer. Instead He sent us Christ so He could reconcile us to Himself. This is the reason why we celebrate this season and every single day. Imagine a girl bitten by a snake and her dad grabbed her leg and surveyed the wound, he knew that swift action was needed. Pulling a sharp knife from his pocket,...

*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *21st December, 2017* *The Holy Spirit Glorifies Christ* _But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me._ John 15:26. Jesus Christ our Lord said that He will send the promise of the Father that is, the person of the Holy Spirit but that was not all He said about Him. He said the Holy Spirit will testify of Him. To testify of someone is to confirm a thing, event, experience or a person on behalf of another; that means, the Holy Spirit will not say a thing that’s contrary to the person or ministry of Jesus. Little wonder Paul said no one speaking by the Holy Spirit can call Jesus accursed. You need to settle it within yourself that The Holy Spirit was given to testify of Jesus, in other words, to glorify the finished works of Christ. Whatever anyone says to you irrespective of their title that doesn’t glorify the finished work...

Investment Options To Consider in 2018

Image
The year will be drawing to a close in just a few weeks. It’s already time to start mapping out your financial plans for 2018. So, what should we expect in the new year? And importantly, what are the best investments you can make heading into it? Before I go forward and tell you about the best investment of 2018, I would like to give a brief definition of “Best Investment”. Best Investment is anything which has a good ROI (Return on Investment). This return is not necessarily about money rather it means anything that takes you one step closer to your goal. Below are some investment options: Investment Options Bond: A debt instrument, a bond is essentially a loan that you are giving to the government or an institution in exchange for a pre-set interest rate paid regularly for a specified term. The bond pays interest (a coupon payment) while it's active and expires on a specific date, at which point the total face value of the bond is paid to the inve...

*Illumination Devotional* *Pastor Jide Ojo* *27th November, 2017* *Grace Is a Finished Work* "For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world." Hebrews 4:3 A lot of times believers assume that what they do is what qualifies them as believers or for the blessing. But a close look at our text shows that God’s work in our lives have been completed from the very foundation of the world. There is nothing you need now that would move God, because He settled it a long time ago. Most of the time what we need is a revelation of where the provision for that need is. For example when you are praying for a spouse, you are not praying that God should create your spouse but that He orders your step to meet each other. God has you in mind with His grace ever available for you every step of the way (2 Corinthians 12:9), everything you need f...
