*The Holy Spirit Glorifies Christ*

_But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me._ John 15:26.

Jesus Christ our Lord said that He will send the promise of the Father that is, the person of the Holy Spirit but that was not all He said about Him. He said the Holy Spirit will testify of Him. To testify of someone is to confirm a thing, event, experience or a person on behalf of another; that means, the Holy Spirit will not say a thing that’s contrary to the person or ministry of Jesus. Little wonder Paul said no one speaking by the Holy Spirit can call Jesus accursed. You need to settle it within yourself that The Holy Spirit was given to testify of Jesus, in other words, to glorify the finished works of Christ. Whatever anyone says to you irrespective of their title that doesn’t glorify the finished works of Christ is not of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus came to fulfill the law; He came to deliver you from the grip of sin, sickness, poverty and misery. That tells you what the Holy Spirit will testify of. He will never testify of sickness, poverty and lack for that’s the work of the devil that Jesus the Son of God came to put an end to. Henceforth refuse to believe anyone who claims that the Spirit of God is putting that sickness or curse on you to humble you. No and Never!! These do not glorify Jesus. God desires that you prosper and be in health. The disciples had so much healings and miracles among them because they preached Jesus and the Holy Spirit testified to it.

Beloved, now is the time to set things right, to refuse to allow anything that is not the activity of the Holy Spirit in your life.

This means there are thoughts and imaginations that are against the knowledge of God. They are anti-new life images and thoughts. And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.  Colossians 4 vs 17 Ministry is God working through man; it’s not man working apart from God neither is it God working apart from man. It is very important therefore to know that the strength and character of God seen in a man is not solely the responsibility of God but the responsibility of God and man. To this end, Paul wrote to Archippus a direct instruction which is worthy of note. That instruction is our opening scripture.
