There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up. Proverbs 21:20
Everyone desires to be something great in life; some however think it comes by trying to make money at all cost no matter the consequences. This is not so beloved. Yes, it is the will of God that you prosper and in fact God delights in the prosperity of His children.
Understanding the interest of God in your prosperity makes you know that He would guide you in terms of your finances. You can receive financial wisdom from God concerning handling what He has committed into your hands.
Saving is one financial wisdom of wealth management and it is scriptural. It might even come as an instruction for you to save more. Joseph operating by the Spirit of God saved 20% of Egypt’s income, which helped during famine. Our Opening text clearly shows the difference between the wise and the foolish; the foolish spends it all up.
Beloved, save and spend wisely.
Additional scriptures: Genesis 41:34-36, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Proverbs 23
*Confession: Father, I thank You for having the desire to see me prosper, I yield myself to the Spirit and I am led. I save and always have abundance to distribute. Amen*
