*The Substance of faith*

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17


Confession and positive believing without having the word of God to substantiate your belief is positive confession coming from an optimistic mind. What gives substance to your faith is the word of God. Hebrews 11:3 says the world was formed by the word of God.

You need to locate the word of God that addresses the issue you want to change because it is the word of God that catalyses faith.  Without the word of God, faith is made void. The word of God is the bank of God’s resources, so you need to go to the bank and know what is available for withdrawal.

Faith can only begin when the will of God is known and God’s will is revealed via His word. Therefore beloved, you need to consciously give yourself to the word so as to be able to get results by faith. Get the word of God and turn it to your confession i.e put the word of God in  your mouth and without doubt, results will begin to follow.

The word of God is the substance of your faith, therefore go for the substance and you will definitely produce results.

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.  Colossians 4 vs 17 Ministry is God working through man; it’s not man working apart from God neither is it God working apart from man. It is very important therefore to know that the strength and character of God seen in a man is not solely the responsibility of God but the responsibility of God and man. To this end, Paul wrote to Archippus a direct instruction which is worthy of note. That instruction is our opening scripture.
