*Grace Changes Things*

“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son” Colossians 1:13

An unbeliever has no leverage over unfavorable situations because Satan is his lord. This means that he is under the dominion of the devil. Satan who is his lord is the chief architect and executor of unfavorable occurrences. So when an unbeliever goes through such situations, there is no one to deliver him from the hand of his master, the devil. He is in the kingdom of darkness therefore he has unpleasant experiences by default.

However, a believer has been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and has been translated into the Kingdom of light, therefore he has the authority to change unfavorable situations when they come his way. For the believer, his experiences should be in line with his realities in Christ.

Beloved, you are saved, so fill yourself with the consciousness of what your realities are. You have leverage over unfavorable situations. That leverage is the life of God you carry in you. So refuse unpleasant situations violently. Do not accept lack, defeat, fear or worry. If for instance you have a financial deadline to meet, hold on to the grace you have received and the consciousness that you can never be stranded. You will in no time see God’s financial provision for that situation.

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.  Colossians 4 vs 17 Ministry is God working through man; it’s not man working apart from God neither is it God working apart from man. It is very important therefore to know that the strength and character of God seen in a man is not solely the responsibility of God but the responsibility of God and man. To this end, Paul wrote to Archippus a direct instruction which is worthy of note. That instruction is our opening scripture.
