*Understanding Grace*

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:17

Most people have not been able to enjoy grace in its fullness because they only seek to have their needs met. They are not desirous to understand what grace really is.

However, Beloved, Grace is more than what we receive to have physical substances, grace is a person. Today's text shows us that grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is Grace.

When you receive freely something you have not worked for, it is called a gift.  God gave Jesus Christ to you freely; He is God’s Grace to you.

For you to fully enjoy Grace, you have to come into a personal knowledge of Jesus. 1 Peter 1:2 makes us to understand that it is your knowledge of Jesus Christ that causes grace and peace to be multiplied unto you. This means that all of God’s resources would definitely abound in your life without you running from pillar to post.

Be diligent to increase in your knowledge of Jesus who is Grace. Stay in consistent fellowship with Him for that is how you grow in your understanding of Him.

Your understanding of your close friends helps you get along with them and enjoy goodies from them effortlessly likewise your understanding of Jesus Christ who is Grace helps you to enjoy all of His resources.

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.  Colossians 4 vs 17 Ministry is God working through man; it’s not man working apart from God neither is it God working apart from man. It is very important therefore to know that the strength and character of God seen in a man is not solely the responsibility of God but the responsibility of God and man. To this end, Paul wrote to Archippus a direct instruction which is worthy of note. That instruction is our opening scripture.
