*Praying in Tongues*

_Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.(Romans 8:26-27)_


When you pray in tongues you are praying out the perfect will of God.

The bible makes us understand that he that prays in an unknown tongue speaks to God in a coded language, that is, it is a mystery to everyone but God. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 talks about how that we have received the Spirit of God to know the things that are freely given to us of God.

By praying in tongues, we enter into the realm of knowledge, this is because we are speaking words given to us by the Holy Spirit.


The Holy Spirit helps us in Prayer by giving to us the right utterance needed to pray the will of the Father. The ‘Helpeth’ in our opening text is the word used to explain partnership.

The Holy Spirit partners with us by supplying to us the needed utterance concerning matters, we do our part by speaking. When this happens, it brings us into a state of full persuasion; we become confident that everything is working together for our good because we have prayed out the will of God.

This is a way to partner with the life of God in you. Do this every day and see yourself get built up.

*Confession: I henceforth give attention to praying in tongues, I build up myself daily. I recognize the person of the Holy Spirit as my helper and I partner with Him in every area in Jesus name.*

And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.  Colossians 4 vs 17 Ministry is God working through man; it’s not man working apart from God neither is it God working apart from man. It is very important therefore to know that the strength and character of God seen in a man is not solely the responsibility of God but the responsibility of God and man. To this end, Paul wrote to Archippus a direct instruction which is worthy of note. That instruction is our opening scripture.
